Syngery CIC Study

ATTENTION MEN AND WOMEN:

Do you suffer from chronic idiopathic constipation? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical trial!

AccumetRX is conducting a clinical research trial which is testing the efficacy of an investigational medication intended to reduce the symptoms of chronic constipation. The medication works by helping your body bring fluid into the intestinal track. This softens stool and increases the frequency and regularity of bowel movements.

To qualify for this study, you must meet the criteria below (additional criteria also apply):

  • Age: Men and women 18-80 years of age
  • Symptoms: You must have chronic idiopathic constipation for at least 6 months
  • Duration: Attend 6-7 office visits over approximately 14 weeks
  • Tracking: You must be willing and able to track medication intake and bowel movements using an electronic diary (we will provide the diary and teach you how to use it)
  • Tests: Depending on your age, you may need to get a colonoscopy
  • Compensation: If you are entered into the study, you will receive free study-related medical tests and investigational medication, as well as monetary compensation for your time and travel

Astellas OAB

ATTENTION MEN AND WOMEN:

If the symptoms of overactive bladder (OAB) – such as the frequent and sudden urge to urinate, followed by leakage – are interrupting your day, the SYNERGY study may be a good option for you!

AccumentRX is conducting a clinical research trial which is evaluating an investigational combination of two drugs prescribed for OAB (both drugs are already FDA approved, and prescribed regularly) to see if, when taken together, they provide more relief then when taken on their own.

To qualify for this study, you must meet the criteria below (additional criteria also apply):

  • Age: Men and women at least 18 years old
  • Symptoms: You must have a certain number of leakage episodes per week, for at least 6 months. If you do not have leakage, you unfortunately will not be eligible for this study
  • Duration: Attend 6 office visits over approximately 4 months
  • Tracking: You must be willing and able to track medication intake and urination episodes using an electronic diary (we will provide the diary and teach you how to use it)
  • Compensation: If you are entered into the study, you will receive free study-related medical tests and investigational medication, as well as monetary compensation for your time and travel

Novabay Catheter Solution

ATTENTION MEN AND WOMEN:

Do you have an indwelling catheter? If so, have you had episodes of blockage or encrustation, making it challenging or painful for you to empty your bladder?

AccumetRX is conducting a clinical research trial which is evaluating the efficacy of a solution made for cleaning catheters. Ideally, the solution will decrease episodes of encrustation/blockage in catheters, allowing them to be changed less frequently and reduce other symptoms like painful insertion and leakage.

To qualify for this study you must meet the criteria below (additional criteria also apply):

  • Age: Men and women at least 18 years old
  • Symptoms: You must have an idwelling catheter and have had a recent episode (within the past 60 days) of encrustation and/or blockage of your catheter
  • Duration: Attend 7 office visits over 5-10 weeks
  • Compensation: If you are entered into the study, you will receive free study-related medical tests and investigational medication, as well as monetary compensation for your time and travel
